Type 304 Stainless Steel
Woven Stainless Steel is an excellent basic Stainless and is often referred to as 18-8 stainless, meaning 18% Chromium and 8% Nickel. It is the most commonly used grade in wire cloth. It operates to approximately 1500 degrees Fahrenheit.

A higher grade of Woven Stainless Steel, Type 316 has an addition of at least 2% Molybdenum which adds increased corrosion resistance in salt water and chlorine. Also, it can withstand higher temperatures compared to Type 304.

Type 316 Welded Stainless Steel

Type 430 Stainless Steel
Has approximately 16 to 18% Chromium (no Nickel) added to a carbon steel base. This gives a magnetic foundation to this alloy.
